    Hi,
Is it possible to work as a sub when studying for Hibernia Masters in Primary Ed?
I read somewhere that INTO membership was required, but note from INTO that student teachers are automatically enrolled?
Therefore I am confused as to what the problem could be here or if a school would be breaking any rules in hiring me as a sub.

Yes the school would be breaking the rules - sort of - they can hire an unqualified person (i.e. you) for a maximum of five days if no qualified person can be found. You have to be registered with the Teaching Council to get paid.
