My orthodontist told me that i should see her again in 3 weeks to get my braces off but when i went to the front desk i was given an appointment for 6 weeks. Also they want me to have 2 appointments on the same day 9am and 3pm. Is it normal to have 2 on the day you are getting them off and should i ring and try get the date pushed up?>

3 weeks will be when they are easy to come off, 6 weeks may be the first available appointment.

2 appointments the same day, first one is to take off braces then take impression for retainer, you go back later that day to have it fitted ( they pour plaster model of your teeth and make retainer during that time).
