    It's already sold.
This garage is actually straight up, they underwrite trade ins from main dealers at the appraisal stage - which is where they get most of their stock, as opposed to a lot of garages who rely purely on cash-for-cars or buy auction stuff - neither of which which would normally be to the same standard.

Thanks Colm. Appreciate the reply. Good to know they're straight up. Will keep an eye on their stock.

I bought a car from them last September, and have had no problems with it >10k km later (delighted with it actually).

I did have a slight issue with the car at the start and was initially dealt with badly, but they were fine in the end and got it sorted out.

Went to look at this today.
    http://m.obeirnemotors.ie/viewanad.php?ad_id=1440768&r=

Nice drive, comfortable, climate control, 6 speed, front and rear parking sensors.

As a trade in I have this. It's on donedeal a while and no phone calls to enquire about it.

To get the smax fully serviced, timing belt done, phone kit fitted he wants 13k with my trade in.

    Good deal?

I would have thought you'd get €2500ish for the sportage privately. It's not outrageous,
if you could get €2500 on donedeal and haggle €500 off the asking price you'd be doing ok which is effectively where you're at.
    Seems fair tbh.
