Hello just wondering is it possible to have two car insurance policy's from two diffrent company's under one name?
Is there any laws or rules again that bs do you've to inform them?
Like if I had one car insured with fbd and used my no claims would I be able to insure another car with axa at the same time but without my no claims?
Been told you can only have one policy full stop

Why would you want to pay for two policies on the one car?

Sounds like he’s talking about two different cars with each of them having their own policy

Do you not get a multi car discount if you use the same insurer for both vehicles?

    Apologies, was confused!

Most policies offer an extension of your own insurance policy to 3rd party insurance on another vehicle you have permission to drive up to a maximum power (your insurer will clarify this)

Third party extension does not apply to other cars you own otherwise people would just buy one policy to cover multiple cars they own.

Yep nothing wrong with that at all. Could even be with the same company.

Nothing at all to stop you doing that. It's all above board. Do tell the insurer of your 2nd car that you have a bonus on the 1st one, they may give you a discount
