Mk1 Yaris - Fog Light drawing current/killing battery

    Hello

Have any of you ever had an issue with the rear fog light in a mk1 Yaris drawing current and draining the battery, even when the engine is off/light switched off?

Is it a common issue? Or something unique to my car?

I'm curious to know where I should start in trying to trace it back.

Now I have fixed the issue by pulling the fuse as the battery was replaced in November and readings from the new battery and alternator show the voltages they should be at.

A few times though I had to take the battery out to charge it in home, which was becoming a burden.

Have you checked the condition of the bulb holder? Unplug it and see if it improves things.
