Plumbing Trade Certificate

    Would anybody know how to get hold of a copy of a plumbing trade cert that has been misplaced? Cant find mine and google isn't helping with any contact info about who to contact.

    Are you talking about your national craft certificate?

    Contact the college who originally issued it,it's been a long time since i heard it called by that name lol

    Yeah i didnt know what exactly it was called until i found the junior part of it, yarnhall street was the place i went to, not even sure if it is still there

    Why do you need it for? Its not Luke you need one to be a plumber in this country. I know loads plumbers who don't have their papers. In fact I know loads of tradesmen who don't gave papers and have made a good living out of it. Sent their kids to college, built houses etc....

    That's not exactly 100% true! I know one who found away around this and is installing gas as we speak with his gas cert

    Reckon i am sorted now, Just an fyi, it is the department of education in Athlone that reissue the cert

    You don't need only plumbing papers. As far as I know, you can get it still if you hold a national craft certificate. ie qualified electrican etc. Maybe even a carpenter for all I know.
    The real cowboys are the guys (postman, taxi driver etc) who did the OFTEC oil course, and this qualified them to do the gas course, Which was ridiculous and is no longer acceptable.
    These are the true Cowboys
