Automatic Gearbox repair, Clare

    Can anyone recommend someone for automatic gearbox repairs. The closer to clare the better thanks .

    Anyone ever have an issue where the gearbox wouldnt engauge neutral when.you come to a stop in traffic ? .

    Read somewhere that a brake light switch problem could cause it not to go into neutral, because it doesn't realise you are stopping. Some brake light switches have two sides, one that controls the lights and the other to tell the computer. So the lights might be fine.

    Just a wild guess from a stranger on the internet though! :)

    One Of the gearbox specialists today said the same today after i saw your post. Thanks :-)

    You're welcome! I'm on my first automatic after 20+ years of driving so I have read a fair bit recently.

    Hope it ends up being an easy fix :pac:
