Well folks, I'm looking to do a bit of work around the farm and house and need to hire a skidsteer. Does anyone know of anyone who hires out one in the Wicklow Kildare Carlow Dublin area? Thanks lads and lassies!

Can anyone who has hired a skidsteer tell me what the daily rate was?
I enquired about getting one to clean out calf pens from a plant hire company and was quoted €200/day. No budging on it. I thought it was outrageous

Thats bout the goin rate, maybe small bit dear. They r just like hiring mini diggers, good lad will get through serious amount of work in a day with one but if a man has to spend the day figuring out what the levers do then it gets dear very quick.

I probably had just over an hours work for it and collecting and returning would have taken more time. If I could have got a half day rate I'd have probably taken it.
