Hi maybe somebody here can offer some advice. I have a Worchester Greenstar 30CDi Classic and an EPH controller like the one attached.

I was wondering what options I have to control the boiler using an app or the likes. i.e. ability to set timers and switch on the heating while away from home.

Something like THIS if it is compatible ?

Maybe someone here can supply/fit ?

    Thanks for any help.

If you post your area you might get more specific help from the right people. The Wave works well. I have one and have fitted a number of them. To fit it to your boiler would need an internal diverter valve kit for the boiler in addition to the Wave unit. Depending on the current plumbing setup it could be relatively straightforward or a complete nightmare. Where is the hotpress in relation to the boiler and are the motorised valves (if fitted!!) close to the boiler?? The Wave requires a 2 core cable from its location to the boiler. Hope that helps. MG

    Thanks for the reply.

The hotpress is upstairs and the boiler is in a utility room downstairs. In the kitchen is the EPH controller and also in the kitchen is an EPH thermostat (pic attached).

The water is actually heated by a thermodynamic solar panels system like the one discussed HERE and so the boiler isn't heating the water (valve turned off at water tank in hotpress). I would assume if I was getting a Wave installed, it would replace the controller or the stat (or both) and the wires there would be sufficient for the Wave ? I've also attached a picture of the water tank and boiler so you can see the valves.

I'm in Naas area if there's a nearby fitter that can quote ?

How much does it work out for the wave and the internal diverter valve?

you could have a Hive installed to replace this controller, simply.
