Problem with Optoma HD200x Projector

    Hi All - I have the Optoma HD200x projector with about 500 hours on the lamp. Recently, its been shutting off and some of the lights that are blinking indicate that the error is a "lamp fail" according, to the manual. Has anyone has this issue before as I though I would get some on screen warning before this happened?

    To make matters more confusing, if I leave the projector a few days and start up again, it seems to be OK, but the error has happened 3/4 times now

    Any help appreciated

    did you try cleaning the filter, if it has one?

    thanks for coming back to me - i havent tried this and not sure if it has a filter if Im honest...

    Last night, the projector worked for about 1 hour then the picture started to flicker, before it went out and the projector lights started blinking as per my post above!
