Hi. Any informed members here able to help me out. Im looking for a highlights reel or video showing dump offs or checkdown passes to running backs. It looks like ive the wrong terminology as I cant find any. But its when a QB is looking downfield and the pass rush comes and he pops the ball short to the RB who then has a bit of space to run into

Including a beginners guide to the screen. Not sure if that's what you were looking for exactly, as a screen is a designed play, where the Offensive line allows the defense through to the QB (sells that their man has beaten them....don't sell it properly and the defensive line/linebackers will sniff the play out from the start) while the RB slips out with linemen to lead him.

What you are describing is just a typical passing play where primary and secondary (and posiibly 3rd/4th) targets don't come open, and a QB is forced into dumping the ball to a RB, where he will have no convoy of linemen (as the linemen stay in trying to protect the QB)
