    Hi there,

I'm an avid user of Parcel Motel and find it great, but I'm trying to buy a desk from a UK company that only ships to mainland UK, not N.I. Does anyone know a parcel forwarder with an address on the mainland? The parcel is fairly big and weighs 46kg.

Thanks for any help or info.

    AM.

I thought the same but max weight is 20KG, OP parcel is over 40.

Maybe try parcel2go or similar, they will collect parcel from seller's location, if seller agrees to that.

If the seller agrees you can just pay UPS/DHL/GLS/Other to pick it up and deliver it to you, no re-shipping.

The only problem is at 46KG one person isn't mean to lift it by themselves so couriers might reject it.
GLS sorts parcels in distribution centres using automated sorting systems. This allows it to deliver parcels quickly and economically. Parcels are not allowed to exceed certain dimensions so that they move smoothly on the conveyor belts. There is also an upper weight limit.

A parcel can be up to …

    60 centimetres in height.
    80 centimetres in width.
    200 centimetres in length.
30 kilograms in weight for shipment within the Republic of Ireland.
50 kilograms in weight for shipment abroad.
