booking.com and genius discounts

    Hi,

    I use booking loads for hotels.

    I am now a booking genius who is meant to get discounts.

    My other half went to book a hotel today, got the exact same price as me on her work computer with no codes or anything put in.

    How in gods name does that work?? What is the point like.

    Only certain properties are discounted. My friend and I were both looking at the same hotel at the same time last week, her price was 10% higher than mine as she didn't have the genius discount.

    I use Hotels.com - thye neer seem to have a deal on the hotels I want (50% off etc) but I get a free night for every ten so its not too bad! ;)

    One of the options when you get your search results should be 'Show Genius Discounts First' which will show you properties that give you a Genius discount, a lot just don't give this discount.

    Yeah, I did find that. Only 1 actually had any discount.

    Just find it all a bit dodgy looking, it kind of makes a big deal about it, but nothing of any real substance.
