Making my first foray into window tinting. Picked up an 05 XC90 for the missus recently and it doesnt have the factory tints on the rear. She much prefers the look with the tints so looking for recommendations (and a rough idea of price) . Found a few places online selling pre cut tints for around Stg£40 (I'm thinking 20% maybe) . I've never done it myself so thinking I'll steer clear and let someone that knows what they're at do it.

Am I better off going to someone and letting them supply and fit or is there money to be saved getting someone to fit what I supply? On the XC90 its rear windows, fly windows, 3rd row windows and rear screen.

You're better off having a pro do it. There is no savings in supplying your own.
You can search this forum for your location and tinting, and old threads will show up.

Closest guys to your location that I know:

    http://visionbranding.ie/contact/

We've used them for branding on a few things and their work is good, but they don't tend to be the cheapest.

If you are willing to travel - http://www.solarcare.ie/ did the wife's XC60 a few years ago for €150 inc. VAT (may have been a special offer at the time from the local motor show) and the quality was right up there with the best I've seen.
