Try Dave in motorbikeworkshop.ie. There is a guy he knows who specialises in emergency call outs although he might have to bring your bike to Dave's workshop in Donnybrook. I think the call out charge is 50 euro plus the cost of the tyre repairs. Good luck.

No idea why more lads don't do this, I'd love to get tyres done at home or at work without having to get alternate transport to and from a bike shop.

Yep. I think there was a few places doing this a number of years ago. I would say it could be a nice little earner transit van. Tyre changing gizmo and off you go. It would also be great for lads buying tyres online.

    Op did you get sorted?

Think he must be gone to Scotland...;)

Its a risky business, tyre fitting on bikes..easy to chip paint and mark powdercoat..not like car wheels..been there,,;);)

If the bike's non-mobile you can drop the wheels (centre stand and a chock under the engine, or a pair of paddock stands needed) and take them in a car (taxi??) to the bike shop. Should save you a few quid on fitting as well.

Did someone slash your tyres?

In Cavan there was a great fire / Judge McCarthy was sent to inquire / It would be a shame / If the nuns were to blame / So it had to be caused by a wire.

    No still parked up 😔.

I knew i had a slow puncture in the front and parked it up for few days and when i came back both of them were flat as pancakes.

Heading to scotland in couple weeks 😊, considering bringing the bike over, still undecided.

I will need to have it sorted before then anyway so will let yas know what happens.

A friend has a trailor that i might be able to get the bike into, not sure how id secure it though. Will need to check it out.

Haven't been online in a while but thought I'd give a quick update...

Ended up using the foam can puncture repair (with a lot of hassle) on both tyres. This gave me just enough to spin the bike up to the local bike shop. Ended up getting 2 new tyres and chain & sprockets for nearly 500 quid.

Big thanks to Max Headroom who offered to help but unfortunately I didn't see this until after I had gone and paid that painful fee. Top man
