    What year Audi is it?

    With newer Audi's you buy the a SD card from the dealer who then hooks your car up to a Audi computer which activates the sat nav and also marry's your car to that SD card. This means that if sell the DVD & SD card on eBay it's useless to any potential buyer unless they have access to a dealer computer.

    I am trying solve a problem with a Garmin Nuvi 255. Its a few years old but still does the job. I have Europe lifetime updates on it but when I tried to update the maps it froze and when I next turned it on, it said no maps found to support routing. When connected to my PC it recognises the Nuvi and says all maps up to date but the Nuvi still says no maps.

    I called Garmin support; they suggested I use Map Installer which I did but no change. I have sent them further emails but no answer.

    Anyone got any ideas?
