Front right indicator light stopped working on an almera (2004 model). Indicator makes a fast clicking sound. I was looking to try and replace it but its quite tricky to get access tot he back of it. Water reservoir seems to be in the way.

Do I need to remove the whole headlight unit or is there an easier way to do this?

The neck of the windscreen resivour is fairly flexible, for added space take the 10 mm bolt off the coolant resivour and move that too.

I had a primera. Similar issue. The neck of the washer bottle actually detached in mine by twisted it. Might not be identical to yours but have a go.

Cheers, I ended up just getting a long-nose pliers at it and was able to get it replaced in the end. I must try and see if the washer bottle detaches by twisting it.
