Hi - looking at possibly relocating to larkfield in harolds cross - what is the area like ? Is it settled or mostly renters ? What is transport like ? Any advice would be very much appreciated

Very settled, and transport's pretty decent: the 9 runs into town very frequently and there's the 54A, 83 and 18 all going in other directions, plus the 16 to the airport over on the Terenure Road side. The amenities of Rathmines, Rathgar and Terenure are an easy walk. I'd recommend it.

It's a good area. Nice and settled, with a good mix of young families and older residents.
Good selection of shops over the road on Sundrive including a nice big SuperValu (was SuperQuinn)
With three bus routes to town you're never waiting long, and a taxi home is about €12
