I hope I posted this in the right forum!

Anyway my story is I date a czech girl and her mum loves collecting stamps. It's her birthday next month and I'm trying to collect as many Irish stamps as I can.

Last week I got the 16 1916 stamps for 2c each from someone at the GPO and my question is can you get many stamps this cheap or for less than 20c at the counter? I'm a student so I'm on the cheap trying to get as many as I can.

Try eBay for Kiloware (buying stamps by weight). They usually come stuck to bits of the envelope. Cheap and cheerful way to start.

    Adverts.ie is another option.

Adverts where a used torn in half stamp stuck to a piece of chewing gum is priced more expensive than a penny black

Just ordered a lot from a seller on adverts, got 30 for €10 (down from 18). Had a lot of positive feed back so hopefully it'll be a positive start. Thanks all for the advice :)
