    Hello,

    So here we go :)

    What do people recommend:

    Option 1:
Air to Water, underfloor and a Stove

    Option 2:
    Oil, Rad's, Stove & Solar

Anyone I know building today is putting in Air-to-water but i just feel that they have a limited life span because at the end of the day technology is changing by the minute and I honestly also feel there will come a day where something major will go wrong and the manufacture is gone bust etc and no parts etc can be got and you need to put in a new unit.

I know that might sound slightly dramatic to some people but I am always trying to think ahead.

Now I know there are some posts on this already but they are from a few years ago so I would like to get some real feedback from people that have this system in a few years and what the think.

    Cheers.

At same stage myself. Have got both options priced up. Going to go air to water route with underfloor and wood burning stove with HRV. The reason is that although A2W will be bit more expensive hopefully we will be fit to live in bit more comfort with constant hot water winter and summer. I just hope its not to expensive on electricity. I just looked into the future if we have a good week or two of weather. Do i want to go to beach with kids or bog to win peats instead...that made up my mind
