Commercial Insurance

    Hi guys

    I have commercial insurance and tax on my jeep. Can I drive it outside of working hours ie privately/pleasure??
    I've searched most Irish car insurance websites and policies and can't find anything about it.

    Well, I'm with Liberty for a van. Their Insurance Cert says I 'm covered to "Use for social,domestic and pleasure purposes. Use in connection with the insured's business and use for towing (other than for hire and reward) of any one disabled mechanically propelled vehicle".

    That, as far as I'm concerned covers me for private use.

    What does your Insurance Cert say?

    Your insurance certificate should state this. I'm with aviva and it does cover social, domestic and pleasure use.
