Was feeding the ewes and ewe lambs beet but its starting to go musty now and I am no longer feeding it. Is there any use for this now?

What do you mean by musty? Is it in a shed?

If you think tis a bit dodgy to give to the in young ewes now, would you chance giving it to em after they lamb?

If you think you can't feed it, then tis a dung heap job I imagine...

Its out in the yard and by musty I mean its has afungus like thing growing on it. I dont think its suitable for any sheep to eat.

    Do you have any pictures?

Just getting to the last of the beet here. Fodder beet. It sprouted a good bit, bit tis still mostly ok.
But maybe I'm giving it to the ewes when I shouldn't be...

It might be ok but if you can take a pic it'd be good

Dung heap job I'd say. Would agree that I shouldn't be fed...

Was that down the bottom of the heap in the muck or something? Is there much I it like that?

Is it sugar or fodder beet?

I'd get the occasional one like that, where tis brown and rotten, but not in any quantity (but, I only had about 6 ton of beet, got it 1st dec and it'll be finished next week, so not exactly a massive amount like)

Its at the top, bottom and middle of the heap, its fodder beet. I got it on Dec 21st.

It's very red looking. Do you know what variety beet it is?
The stuff I have is white. I think (not 100%) that the variety is Magnum.

Maybe the white stuff I have stores or keeps better than whatever variety you have?

I don't so anything at all to it, tis just tipped in the yard. Last year, I was feeding it into May and it was still mostly good. And that was fron a delivery in dec same as this season.
