The TELLUS Project In Ireland

Hi all, first time poster, long time reader here.
I just wanted to bring to you guys attention that there is rumours that there is a project currently running here in Ireland whereby the people running it are supposedly geomapping the while country and I quote from their website -

"Using harmonised, systematic surveying techniques across entire regions of the island of Ireland, producing seamless maps for a variety of end-users.
The coupling of airborne geophysics and ground-based geochemistry provides a richness of data which puts Ireland amongst the top countries in the world for the quality, breadth and availability of geoscience information".

The website also states that using low flying aircraft use rays that can easily see into the our "Deep Glacial Deposits" etc.
Its also stated that this survey is going to help determine future mining possibilities around the country as well as many other measurements (radon, radioactivity etc)

There has been an under current of rumours lately where by speculation has arisen about how the rays use from these aircraft are detrimental to human health, there has been a marked increase in unexplained illnesses arising in the areas that have already been surveyed and on another level, there is supposedly major exploratory companys secretly backing this venture financially so as they can and will exploit the countryside when minerals are found in sufficient quantities as to make the area viable for extensive mining activities.

Has anyone else heard of any of these rumors or speculation regarding this Tellus project ?
I'd be grateful if anyone could shed any further light on this or any other similar issue happening any where else ?

Do you have a source for this?

What kind of rays will they be using, because none of the equipment listed on the site is capable of causing illness.

On the face of this, it looks like another case of people not understanding something technical, and concluding it must be a conspiracy.
