    Hi all.

I'm involved in a sports team and we are recording all of our games for review.
I'm hoping to extract video snippets to show certain players some pointers..

What easy to use software would you recommend for extracting video snippets.?

    Thanks in advance

Avidemux would be my first choice.

I have also used VLC to play the video and click the record button to copy a short clip of what is playing ....... click again to stop recording.

My post seems to have gotten lost - must have forgot to press post!?

Anyway, was just adding my +1 to Avidemux for quick editing (and add that I mostly used to it to change codecs). And that if you needed more complex editing then OpenShot is worth a look.
