I am an Irish Citizen who has adopted my Canadian partners children. One was born in the UK and is 12 and the other born in Canada and is 20. Both Adoptions have been approved by Canadian Courts.
How to I go about getting approved in Ireland, we are not married and have 2 other biological children. We wan to return home

    Hi,
I would advise you to get onto Adoption Authority of Ireland in Shelbourne Road Dublin, but i would guess if children were legally adopted in another country the adoption would be legal here

You have to apply to have the adoptions added to the Register of Foreign Adoptions. Its a fairly straight forward process- nothing too taxing.
