Why this was not nominated for a best song and music video award at the MTV awards I will never know...

I liked that song. But what was the thing about the tattoo and the ink mark on the driver seat?

I remember people saying it was a mistake in the video because the tattoo was fake.

You're telling me OP I just made 600 easy bucks selling my share of a thing called Google, as if that'll ever take off. I'm gonna use it to invest in Furbys, my mate suggested I invest in Apple but screw that, their new iMac is slow as sh*t, they're dead in the water. Furbys is where it's at, Furbys and Britney Spears. Now I'm off to the pictures to see Armageddon.

Arbitrary awards are annoying. Not as annoying as arbitrary thread titles though.

Ah, 1998! The year I retired. Madonna was unbeatable that year.

Eight of the top ten selling singles of 1988 were released in 1987. Says it all.

That's what I thought. A song co-written/produced by Matt Laws who was mod of the music production forum until relatively recently.

    Great band.

If I remember correctly, Rte did a highlights video for the end of the 98 F1 season using that song, it was a pretty good video and season too!

FIFA 1998 the road to the world cup was the best FIFA out of the lot.

Old school commentary after you would win the World Cup

I can't stand Manic Street Preachers myself tbh, they're one of those bands I'm pretty much allergic to!

He was the guru of the dance music forum and gave good honest advice, ran competitions etc. Looks like he's still in Wexford.

Loved that Cardigan's album that song is off.

Good video too for that song.

It was the year that Zidane and France reached their pinnacle.
