If your hedge trimming etc I'd say you need fairly hefty public liability. Possibly covering you to a few million.

    That's pretty good ;)

The TP and TPFT quotes are little more than another tax (a fee for doing business) but at least you get some "benefit".

    Good luck

What would be the best insurance provider and plan for a 1990 Massey Ferguson 390 for vintage use and light agri, note: I do not have a farm or farm insurance. Thanks in advance!

Fbd do vintage Machinery insurance. I think it's a around 45€. We do it completely separate tonthe farm insurance(diff providers) and they wouldn't be listed on the farms as they are dad tractors not the farms if that makes sense.

Don't know we used them for vintage lorry insurance through the Irish vintage association.

Well I looked into it for our Massey 135 and I'm not sure but the terms were very rigid so I decided not to chance it. Ie if you hit a car while bringing a haybob down the road you weren't covered things like that. It really was just for them driving on the roads for vintage rally's etc
And whelan I'm thinking he meant nixers lol

yea, I had a hedgecutter years ago just for my own, it even increased the farm insurance and would've been a lot dearer if I had been for hire.
You never know what's going to fly out of a hedge at a car though
