Hi Folks does dslite need to be disabled to enable bridge mode on the new Compal router ? I've put the modem into Bridge mode via the web interface, used the lan port closest to the coax and connected to my alternate router but can't get access to the Internet

DSLite needs to be OFF for bridging to work.

On the Cisco or the Compal, the modem will let you bridge it in DS-Lite mode, but you'll only have access to IPv6 sites afterwards unless you can enter the DS-Lite AFTR address in your router. So you're better off disabling DS-Lite anyway.

The Technicolor and Ubee just reboot back into router mode and don't let you do it at all.
