    Hi Folks,
I bought the tp-link mr3420 v2 off ebay without doing any research and to be honest i don't have much of a clue anyways! When i tried to connect it last night with the R216 huaweii modem off vodafone 4G i was not able to connect. Failing to identity the modem.
Did a bit of googling and power reboots but no luck.
When i look up the compatability list then for the TP-LINK i can't see the R216 listed so i'm assuming now that i'm fecked.

Has anyone else got this modem & router combination i have and have they it working?

    Thanks

The R216 is a WiFi router from Vodafone I'm assuming. The TP link would only support the plug in USB stick mobile broadband dongles and not a WiFi router, even plugging the R216 in via USB will not work at all you need to find a 3G/4G mobile broadband stick dongle rather than a WiFi router to plug into the TP Link.
