It would be unusual for a €400 car with nct to be unsold after 45 days.

I would suggest getting one a bit newer, as they are such a rare car in Ireland's you'll def have to do a bit of legwork.

Cannot afford more and he has reduced it. I think it is that it is a 99 car? There are several on donedeal but replies to queries and even emails are rare! Insurance om current one runs out end of month.

You should ring the seller in every case. Not to generalise but they may not be that tech savvy.
Have you called the seller in Galway?

There are buses and trains from Limerick to Galway if you can get up that far

Please note that a valid nct does not make the car roadworthy, nor does it imply that the car hasn't got a load of issues. A good Japanese tested car for €400 is a rare thing. It's odd that it hasn't been snapped up already.

Might be quicker to get to Dublin than Galway.

Dublin not possible for me. would need someone to drive it down and I have no real phone connection.. last time did it all by email etc and that was fine. This one, six years ago, was E800 but I got it for E500 as the tyres were needing replacing. How come a car dealer in Dublin does not answer his email! Tried for that one too and silence..

Most are probably busy dealing with people in their garages. Anyway, any sub 1k cars being sold by dealers are probably heaps of steaming dung.
