I was under the assumption that a householder would be notified a certain amount of weeks (2?) beforehand of the installation of water meters.Another notice  3 days before.Well today, a whole bunch of your workers arrived this morning to install them in my area, WITHOUT ANY NOTICE?

I contacted IW on the phone, I ll say later what they said, but just wondering if any of you on here would be able to know why was this?

    Hi jimmyw,

When work has been approved for an area, notification will be sent two weeks prior to the scheduled works, with a reminder sent to households three days before work begins. However, while we do endeavour to notify each area of works, due the nature of schedules, this may not always be possible.

We apologise for any inconvenience this has caused you.

    Kind regards,
    Mairead
