I have just received planning permission to build a new house. There is a mains water in place but the water pressure is very poor. I am going to dig my own well. Must I still connect to the mains? Can I just apply to connect to the sewerage and not connect to the mains?

    Hi eimearfahey,

    Thank you for contacting us.

It is possible to connect just to the public sewer mains. For more information regarding the application process, please see here.

    I hope this information helps.

    Thanks,
    Niall
