Have a blocked meal bin , has this happened anyone and how did you relieve it?? I thought it was empty but must have had a bit that was stuck higher up, at the moment I'm using sanitary rods to try and bring it down ,disaster

That's what hurley are for............A good belting with the face of the boss.....like you're doubling on a dropping ball, to score the winning goal in the all ireland....

If you're n I t from a hurling county, then you're probably better skilled with sanitary rods. .....

I'm from a part of Kerry where hurleys don't exist
and there is no point kicking a football of the bin so I use a fence post in a ramming motion on the outside of the bin and it works every time or a few taps of a sledge hammer will work as well.

double post, rain in the www makes it slow

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

Back of a shovel then, up as high as you can. Is there a manhole on top? You might have rain getting in there causing it to bridge, you will probably have to re-seal the manhole. Maybe you have a long golf club instead of a hurl:D

Get lifted up in front loader and wallop the sides of the bin with a fencing post or whatever

The health and safety wouldn't want to catch you. There was a farmer in the UK had two men in a manitou bucket cleaning the side of a shed when some nosey fcuker out walking spotted them and reported it to health and safety.

A rubber mallet is a good job on bins. Use it after ever load at where the cone meets the straight bit of the bin. However I think if it is blocked very bad you may have to open top and clean it. Some millers only pop corn the barley and this year it is heating in the Bins as winter is quite warm
