Have had Highland Lodge in mind for sometime but the handicappers added 6 pounds I see. A bit of improvement needed so..
I thought he'd a few years ago after a great Hennessey run he was an interesting Grand National candidate and 3 years on he's finally getting his chance!

I love Don Poli and would love to see him do the double of this and the gold cup.
Will be backing him at 25s for this though, think it's a smashing bet

Surely he won't run unless he fell very early in the GC?

Mullins seems very keen for him to go anyway and I dont see why he couldn't but time will tell.

I'd be shocked if he went to it, I'd back him alright as he's my fav horse in training at the mo along with Faugheen!

Can't look beyond the obvious here. Many Clouds has a great chance of winning back to back Nationals. I never back the previous year's winner of the race as the extra 7 or 8lbs to carry is always enough to sink them, but Many Clouds looks a cut above your average National winner. He's gone up 6lbs from last year but that mightn't be enough to stop him and he shouldered a big weight last year. Worth having a few quid on now at 12/1. I reckon he'll be a fair bit shorter on the day.

Backed Goonyella the other week at 33/1 and the novice OneNightinvienna 50/1

Backed OnenightinVienna at 50/1. As said above unless Don Poli falls early or runs no race at all in the Gold Cup it wont be this year.
Big Many clouds fan. Cant see why he cant do it again. I also like Trio D'Alene

Many Clouds is only up 1lb from last year.

He ran off a handicap mark of 160 last year. He's running off a handicap mark of 165 this year.

Yes but the weights were raised last year. He carried 11st 9 last year and carries 11st 10 this time.

I'm not sure if you understand the concept of handicapping. He runs off a 5lb higher mark than he did last year.

Morning Assembly anyone at 50/1? 10-9 on his back! Think I'll leave Triolo D'Alene alone given NJH's record in the race!
