Yes, there are gels you can get.
Some have tried superglue with various results.

Check out Rain-X Windscreen Repair Kit and Permatex Windshield Repair Kit.

Maybe first swing by an autoglass and get an opinion, maybe they have a gel and can fix it cheap.
