How many hours a day do you spend sitting?

Might not be an option for you but some core work would help.

Why do you say mightn't be an option?

So what do you think causes your back issues? Running or sitting?

Pliates will help you out alot. I had this issue and started core work and reformer pilates and haven't looked back.

Maybe pay a visit to an osteopath. They should give you stretches to do a couple of times a day depending on where you have the pain. I had lower back problems for years but not anymore. I don't know if wearing a support strap is a long term solution.

Tried this and it didn't do much.

    Did you try reformer pilates?

I'd be inclined to get to bottom of back problems.

Given you sit a lot you may have issues with mobility, flexibility, strength.

Get properly assessed by a good S & C trainer, rather than spending money later on physio/supports etc. He/she will find your imbalances and give you corrective exercises.
