Dublin coach have pretty much confirmed on Facebook that they are to start a route to cork, how do you guy think this will do as there's already strong competition on the route? (provided its from Dublin)

It is Waterford to Cork, an extension of their Dublin to Waterford service.
Dublin Coach had a great time at the CLG Port Lairge - Waterford GAA V Kilkenny GAA game yesterday. We stop 9 times daily en route to Dublin and March 10th will see an extension of this route to...............

CORK!!!! Tell everyone we are coming! More details to follow.

Noticed this around two months ago on an online add. I'm not sure there will be major demand for Waterford to Cork but they may be from Dungarvan-Waterford and Youghl to Cork but fares would need to be pretty competitive to take passengers of a BE service which have 13 times daily service.

Dublin/Waterford must be costing them a packet as I rarely see full buses.

New service from Waterford to Cork commencing March 10th

Dublin Coach are pleased to announce that we are extending our M9 services from Waterford to Cork City from March 10th.

We are adding 3 new stops on the M9 route at Waterford IT, Dungarvan and St. Patrick's Quay.

    The fares are very competitive:

Cork - Dungarvan is €5 and Cork - Waterford is €10.

St Patrick's Quay in Cork will be a very busy bus stop with Citylink, Aircoach and now Dublin Coach operating there.

BE are matching Dublin Coach fares on Waterford-Dungarvan, would expect Waterford-Cork is the same.
