I find the new earphones that are sold now are absolutely rubbish and have bad quality. They fall out of your ears very easily. I can't find one shop that sells the ones I like. It's very infuriating how people actually like these ****ty things.

But there's probably hundreds of kinds of head/ear phones. How can you dislike them all?

Yeah they don't seem to be around anymore, I bought 4 pairs of them a while ago on Amazon cos I don't like the ones you linked to (they do fall out too easily) and I don't want one of those big sets of headphones that make me look like something from the Band Aid video in the 80's

It can be hard to find earbuds that fit properly in your ear, making them uncomfortable or causing a lack of bass when they don't seal properly against your ear canal. However, there is a secret trick you can use to ensure a snug fit every time. Before you fit them for the first time, pack your ears with silicone sealant - this will ensure a snug fit no matter how ridiculously shaped your ears are. A €5 tube from Woodies will last you many pairs and you will be the envy of all your friends.

The ones you prefer are ear buds. The other type are in ear monitors or iems. IEMs tend to be better as earphones in that they direct the sound into your ear canal more precisely & leak sound less. With the buds you'll be sharing your music with anyone within 4 or 5 metres radius of you - pretty antisocial behaviour. However, some people do have problems getting iems to stay in - everyone's ears are different I suppose. You could try Comply foam tips, they replace the normal rubber tips on the iems & give a better fit in your ear. Many earphone manufacturers include them as an accessory with their products.

Well that helps "pretty antisocial behaviour" as I don't have very good social skills. So it's no wonder why I like 'em.

And your ears will also be floodproof.

The ones you're looking for are available in Harvey Norman (€17.99) "Sony". I bought them and the sound quality is amazing.
Argos also sell the same type, but they're JVC and can't speak for the sound quality.

Yep those Sony ones are the ones that I was exactly looking for. I accidentally broke my previous ones.

I bought a set of Jays One in ears and have been very impressed with them. Very light and the flat cable means less tangling. Sound quality is very nice at this price point.

Where would you recommend getting these? I'm wary of fakes online, anywhere I can be sure they are genuine?

IBuyGou are reliable. Have used them a couple of times without issue.
