Hi lads just wondering about getting a joint number for the home farm, currently it's in my fathers name. What would I have to do to apply for it and is it a lot of hassle and paper work?
Also I've been told that for the joint herd number you get a €3000 top up on the single farm payment or is it all dependant on how much land you have
    Thanks in advance

You have to have done the green cert course. Best talk to a planner or teagasc, good bit to it. Circa €65 top up a ha to be got for 5 years.
