Hi all....we have been advised that the house we are renting is being sold and we need to vacate by March 31st. We've found a place we really like but it's available immediately. What's your opinion of terms of notice in this situation. We're being kicked out so could we vacate at the end of Feb?

I am sure that under the circumstances the landlord would be thrilled that you want to vacate earlier. Pitch it to them as "you don't want us to leave it until the last minute in case we can't find another place by then".
