I had a new lambda sensor fitted about 2 years ago so I'm wondering could it be the catalytic converter now , the car had a full service before it went for the test and dipetane fuel treatment.
Just wondering what you all think it could be and how best fix it.
Thank you for any advice or help in advance.

Good and low HC's which should at least rule out the catalyst.

At a guess, the slightly higher Carbon monoxide on it's own could be caused by a manky air filter.

If the car wasn't serviced, ensure it is. If it was, ensure that the plugs and air filter were changed, and not just the oil and oil filter. Lastly, cleaning a throttle body can help a lot too. Any time I've had an older petrol car going in, that's been done.

Also, parts do age. If an air filter has only done 2 thousand miles, it'll still be useless after say, two years.

got a can of injector cleaner ,put contents into half tank of petrol instead of 4 full ones, octavia 1.4, scrope through due to being serviced as well, failed once due to not servicing first, but can of injector cleaner goes in every time usually 2-3 days previous to test.good luck, a tune up might help though.
