Hi I have a Ford Focus and when I turn the wheel there's a really loud noise like two blades hitting off each other and after a while when I drive straight there is even a noise I filled up the power steering fluid and the noise went away but when I drove for 20 minutes the noise is back..

Does anyone know what the problem is?

What year focus ?? If its 05 on i would be 99% sure your power steering pipes are leaking at the steering pump.

It's a 2006 , there is a big patch on the ground under the car where it's parked where it's leaking, so you think it's the pipes? Is it ok to drive the car until I get it fixed in a few days? Also I have an engine light on dash board would that have anything to do with it?

Its actually the union that goes not the pipes but you have to replace the pipes aswell.
No it wouldnt be safe to drive you wont have proper steering and the fluid is required to lubricate your steering pump so without it you will damage the pump.

Eml wouldnt have anything to do with this fault.
