    Court jester 16 30 navan 14/1

Won this 2 years ago off 93 runs off 88 tomorrow. Decent third two runs ago and conditions will suit. 14/1 looks big and confident in a decent run for my money. 4lb claimed should help as well 2 pts win

    3:30 Navan - Mad Brian (9/1)

My only comment is that I will be mad if it doesn't win!

It has already been punted from 18/1 into its current price across the boards

    Whose? :pac:

i also like St Patricks Day at 4/1. Honestly expected this horse to be wrapped in cotton wool after last time with a view to giving it a run over a fast galloping tracking, that I feel especially suits. Needless to say, it's out against fairly poor company. If this one gets a clean run, what the fcuk can beat it?

Mad Brian. Blue across oddschecker since 7pm. I guess a tipster has put him up.

Just coming on to comment about this one. And I missed the fancy prices and all.

2m6f on ground that is no problem for him running off a mark of 120 over hurdles. I love it!

We're all loving Mad Brian. The callaghans train not too far from Navan either so I'd say they don't mind getting a winner or 2 there.

Stuccodor the biggest dog in racing since he's gone hurdling :pac:

True. He's not a NH horse

Nice 1. Think it's fair to say Ttebob's nothing near the animal he was being hyped as after his 1st 2 chase starts.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,393 ✭✭✭PM me nudes

Thought Ruby was giving it the classic non trier ride, with the added constant looking down at girth, but they're you go, well in bumper :pac:

Fav was travelling really well but emptied so quickly. Might need a breathing op or something. Didn't look right to stop so quick

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,681 ✭✭✭BumperD

Another 3 runner minefield up next :D

Maybe the fav at 10/11 is value

If i was forced to have a bet i'd chance Snow falcon in the 3.00 in the hope he'll front run and take his time. Dedigout's the best horse in it but his 1st run in quite a while and i think he likes a truly run race. Couldn't back anything in it though.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,681 ✭✭✭BumperD

I'll give the dedigout a go at evs to win with his head in his chest :pac:

Fancied him until the non runners, afraid he might pull away his chance but hopefully does the business for you good luck

    Outsider of 3 :pac:

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,722 ✭✭✭posturingpat

Dedigout very disappointing there, was a bit keen early but nothing to excuse getting beat that far.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,681 ✭✭✭BumperD

Heard the trainer mention he would come on for the the run but that was after I had placed my bet. Winner won well.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,681 ✭✭✭BumperD

I cannot see anymore 3 runner events on the card. Thats me done :D

And him probably not trying a leg in the race anyway

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,681 ✭✭✭BumperD

Black Hurcules up next- watching brief. Then I'll have a look at on the dry in the handicap hurdle though you wouldnt know whether its trying or not until the last 2F

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,722 ✭✭✭posturingpat

I'm having a small e/w on Pleasant Company. Was a talented hurdler but burnt punters a few times when not going through with it in handicaps but his first chase run suggested fences have made a man of him as he was challenged a few times and kept finding. Has only run that once over fences and that was a beginners chase so this is a steep step up but the form of that race is working out ok with plenty of subsequent winners in there, he jumps really well and will stay no problem. Like to see him at the head of affairs from the start.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,681 ✭✭✭BumperD

    Hope he gets up

Edit - he's up. Happy to see

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,722 ✭✭✭posturingpat

Queue the abuse for Ruby. As for Pleasant Company he could be interesting in the 4 miler if he goes ther, didn't have the pace when they picked up at the end and plodded on.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,681 ✭✭✭BumperD

Hard to know why he fell. Didn't get his legs over, was he tired?

    Good result for Paddy Power.

I'm going of the assumption you meant Ruby downed the horse on purpose to save Paddy Power a few quid which is pure dung.

Thats a couple of big names going into the festival with a big dirty F in their last run, djakadam & now black hurcules. Not ones to rely on me thinks??

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,022 ✭✭✭madmoose

Not good going to cheltenham on a fall, black hercs class may get him through though in the 4 miler.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,681 ✭✭✭BumperD

I'm not that confident about black H. The yard were giving him up as one of their best going into last years festival, he came up short, after that fall, I'll take him on with something else on the day.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,722 ✭✭✭posturingpat

I see that dog Jett's running again today. That boy's lost some amount of people some amount of money. If he ever puts in what they think he can do from his homework he'll win a bumper easily. I'll not be paying to find out today though :D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,393 ✭✭✭PM me nudes

Saw some statistics on twitter regarding the top jockeys and completion percentages. Ruby had 6 falls from November to late Jan, from 160 rides. I think Geraghty had 21 pulled ups from 170!! Ruby had highest fall % but only just, and 4 or 5 of the 6 were in graded races, with other jockeys falls coming mostly in handicaps or maidens. So Ruby basically has a lot more high profile falls, as the avg SP of his fallers being 2.8 which skews the views of the punter

    3:30 Navan - Mad Brian (9/1)

My only comment is that I will be mad if it doesn't win!

    1st 8 Admiral Brian (IRE) 14/1
    2nd 9 Dr Waluigi (IRE) 2/1 f
    3rd 1 Isleofhopendreams 5/1

The wrong Brian, you shouldn't have gone for the mad one :D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,681 ✭✭✭BumperD

He's well related. I'm hoping he loses as I've doubled the two shorties in Navan & exeter 5.00/5.10

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,722 ✭✭✭posturingpat

Facebook and Twitter have gone into meltdown about Ruby anyway. Some entertaining stuff. Check the attheraces post about it on their facebook page, some of the responses are pure gold. :P

A case for Mulder & Scully?!!! Conspiracy theories. How someone thinks ruby would risk life & limb is tin hat stuff.
