Can someone help please I have a tv bow with a coxail cable input from the dish and internet cable input from modem.
I am getting good signal as in 80% but 0% quality so no picture.
Is this usually because of the Coax cable or the internet cable or the box itself.
any help would be great please

Was this box previously working alright?

If it's just a new install, did you set it up yourself, & do you know how to go about tuning etc.?

Make & model of box might be useful too.

Hi Mate its a RevezQ10. Was working fine until the wind moved the dish. I reset the dish and my other box is working fine . But this one as I said signal 80% quality 0%. I tried do a blind scan and still the same.

Which channel(s) are you checking the signal on?

Maybe take a look at the cable connection at the dish, also check at the receiver end for water in the cable.

I have a slightly similar problem which is baffling me...

I live in Belfast and via aerial pointing south I get perfect Saorview on my TV and through a Freeview HD box.

Last week I was in Thailand and saw a DVB-T2 receiver box in a branch of their Tesco, which had USB recording functionality and cost less than £18 - so I bought it.

Tuned it in back home - and everything is fine (seems pretty good even) except that for some reason it doesn't seem to like Channel 52 - the channel with TV3, RTE News Now, RTE2, 3e, etc.

Channel 56 (with RTE1, UTV-Ireland, RTE1+1 etc.) tuned in perfectly - as did all the Freeview and Freeview HD channels - but Saorview Channel 52 shows 0% signal quality and therefore won't give me any of those channels.

Like I say - the same Coax from my aerial, plugged into TV or Freeview HD box, can receive everything perfectly. Would there be anything about Ch52 that's making it impossible to tune in on this box?

Granted, my Saorview signal (from either 52 or 56) is not normally high (around 46% signal showing up on the other receivers) - but why is Ch52 zero on this other box?

    Thanks.

... Would there be anything about Ch52 that's making it impossible to tune in on this box?

Apart from the signal coming from your aerial on channel 52 seemingly being poorer, I'd say no.

The tuner in the new box just mustn't be able to cope with a poor signal as well as your other box or TV.
