Hi guys I started a new job I'm on a year out in college and have booked flights to the Euros the 10th of June should I have said something about this or what way can I go about trying to get it off without them firing me or me quitting I was thinking of just keeping the head down and working as many shifts as possible and just say it to them after 2 months around the end of April or start of may was I right not to say it ? I dont really mind if I can't get it off and have to leave as I'm back in college in September but still would be nice to hold onto the job for the 2 extra months and maybe hold onto part time while in college

Hi, would suggest to say it asap. Regardless of employer it's always good to set your stall out from the beginning so people can check calendars and make alternative arrangements with staff and shifts.
Honesty is always the best policy and if things are booked it's on you to say they are in a nice way.
Would suggest asking for 5 mins whenever they are free and mention it then,no time like the present.Employer will appreciate your honesty and initiative.
Not sure what type of contract you are on either but you can't get fired for taking a holiday...
    Good luck!

I would just ask them politely now. Apologise for not mentioning it at your interview and ask if you could take the time off (unpaid if necessary). I'm sure they will try to accommodate you as its plenty of notice.
