What are people paying for testing light commercial vehicles (under 3500kgs )? I got my 05 LR Defender tested this week and was charged €111. Relation of mine got a 01 Opel Combo tested in the same test centre 3 weeks ago and was charged €116. Not huge difference butstill it put me wondering.
Do they have a set fee or charge according to the vehicle or make it up as they go along?

all fees are plus vat at 23%, not sure how much levy is, but levy is not subject to vat.
Normal fee is about 111 from memory, the 116 is if you add vat to test fee without removing levy part, i think

Different fees for different test categories.
If you were changed incorrectly then your vehicle wasn't tested correctly as it was tested under the wrong category.
