Heya lads, about 5 years ago I had this mixer and loved it. I saw one on adverts for cheap so I said feck it and bought it. Problem is since it's so old the drivers only work for xp/vista. I have Windows 8.

What are my options here? I tried a virtual machine but I'm not sure its going to work cause of the latency etc. I could possibly do a dual boot with xp and then just use that for mixing.

It comes with Torq 1.5 which I actually really liked when I used it. Torq 2 looks rubbish. Can I maybe get it to work with Traktor? I'm only using this for a bit of messing around at home really

Do I have any other options?

Do they drivers come in an executable? If so you could try installing under compatibility mode to see if that works.

Did the same recently, saw one for next to nothing as pitch faders were fooked so took a punt on it as i always liked them when they came out - Got it working with windows 7 no bother, everything worked straight away with VDJ and it just needed setting up with Traktor doing the usual midi learn stuff - if i remember correctly i just installed the drivers under compatibility mode.

still a nice piece of kit
