Building an outhouse?

For somebody that wouldn't be adept in this area of diy should I tackle something myself or just go out and pay.....

It's for managing the dogs food as I feed her raw meat so I want to have a deep sink with running water as a service.....and electricity as a service....

How would sub-zero temperatures (like we get sometimes in Ireland) affect the electricity supply?

    Thanks.

The cold won't affect electricity. However I doubt this would be considered minor electrical works under electrical regulations so you'll need a Registered Electrical Contractor (not just an electrician) to install and certify the electrical work, it's the law.
No such restriction applies to plumbing so you can connect to the water supply and waste pipe of the main house yourself.

That's debatable , depends on what you want to power and the length of the run you could just use SWA and stick a plug on the end of it and then plug it into an socket in the house.

 Euser, forgive me but; Is this not a little bit serious. for feeding one Dog?

I have four, at the moment. Usually have four or five. All, always, flesh fed. Always have been. I can't for the life of me imagine why you'd want a purpose built, plumbed and wired out house for it though. Unless you're butchering wild goats? (I know a man who does)

What ever. It's your choice, of course. I'd just point out that fridges ~ if ye mean to keep meat in a fridge, out there? Tend not to last five minutes in the cold.

Mind sharing ye vision here, please? I'm intrigued to hear what's led ye to plan such an undertaking. I function, perfectly happily, in my kitchen. Hatchet and tree stump being the only visual clues to what goes on there.

Only partly true. Most will have problems but some are rated for cold environment use.

    e.g. Beko http://www.beko.ie/lifestyle/freezer-guard

It can be stored in a freezer inside but it's just for preparing it (defrosting in microwave) and washing them out for example....I don't have enough room in my kitchen to do it hygienically......plus, tripe stinks!

Anyway I was just asking what people would regard as a good structure to build this - maybe a graphical plan or something?

    Thanks.

Steve; I've heard about these Beko ~ and other ~ 'Garage' fridges. I'll have to invest in one, next time. I've, literally, been working my way through a fridge or two a year here. My kitchen being on a par with any other outhouse.

This year, I've had an ~ is it; " STC1000 " (?) fitted. Thing that can act as an up and down thermostat. Fridge hasn't killed itself, this winter. But, the freezer defrosted and the fridge still reaches 9C.

When my fridge is working, I defrost my meat in there. When it plays up, like now? I put the meat in the sink. Without that, I'd put it in a muslin covered bucket.

Euser; Tripe ....? Well, of course, that's entirely up to you .....

I'm not an architect or any sort. So, I'll unfollow this thread now. I was just curious.

    Good day, gentlemen :)
