VALTRA 800

    IV SEEN A 2000 VALTRA 800 IT HAS 8000 HOURS AND GOING RELATIVELY CHEAP. IM IN THE LOOK OUT FOR IN AND AROUND 90HP BUT WILL CONSIDER 80HP. ANYONE HAVE ANY EXPERIENCE WITH A VALTRA 800? OR SHOULD I CONSIDER A VALTRA 900 OR 6400??

    No experience with valtra but am told they are a great yoke. If it's going cheap then I think I would gamble away.

    Is it 2 or 4wd? What are the tyres like? Overall condition? Can you say how much it's going for?
    They would be pretty bombproof mechanically. The cabs are tiny though.

    it's a 4wd 4 tyres look good going for €15,000 and its from a dealer it's the only 800 I've seen for sale. Lot of 900's for sale In Munster private going for €20,000+.

    I reckon it's dear at that.

    I thaught that was good enough I havnt seen many 2000 tractors for that price. Lot of early 90's fiats 80-90 Hp for around 13-16k but that's all. I suppose I'm new to tractors in terms of buying we've always ran an mf 135 so I know no better I suppose. 😄

    If you could get a mid to late 90's Landini 9880. You would have a very good tractor for your money.
    Over the valmet, it would have a 93hp turbo charged engine, a shuttle gearbox, a superior hitch and a much better cab.
