    Vitz would all be JDM imports, there seems to be a massive increase in Mk2 Vitz around, 08's and 09's, must be a bit of a margin back in bringing in Jap stuff.

    Vitz is a Japanese model Yaris. The main reason there's so many about is that they tend to be automatic and have a higher level of equipment than a Yaris. Also they come with a CVT gearbox and 1.0 engine combo that wasn't available in Ireland. They're very popular with certain nationalities that move to Ireland for work, so there's always demand for them.
    You'll also see a lot of Mazda Demios (same as mazda2) and Honda Fit (same as jazz) being imported from Japan too.

    I'd love to get my hands on one of the old school factory spec'd Vitz Turbo's. Hard to find though :(

    Lots of insurance companies wont even quote on Japanese Imports.Something to be wary of in before buying one.I'd never buy one again because of the sheer hassle of insuring the car.

    A tuned, turbocharged 1l Yaris with automatic transmission sounds like so much fun it'll probably be illegal around here shortly! :pac:

    The Vitz TRD turbo's are 1.5L and generally manuals, I've seen an odd auto here and there at auction but they are alot rarer.
    I had a Toyota Bb with the same 1NZFE Turbo engine from the vitz but the auto box just kills it, manual Vitz was a lot more fun to drive
